Members of the Francis Scott Key Lions Club visited the AOPA National Aviation Community Center on September 27, 2016, where we were met by Michael Woods, Manager of the center.
Members learned about AOPA, general aviation, and the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), which was meeting that evening. Members were allowed to tour the airplanes in the hangar, some of which were open for closer inspection. Three hardy members tried their hand at the simulator, with varying degrees of success.
