The Francis Scott Key Lions Club will hold its annual yard sale on Saturday, August 11, 2018, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1406 North Market Street, Frederick, across from Governor Thomas Johnson High School. Offered items include clothing (including NASCAR #3, #8, #29 jackets), rocking chair, luggage, power tools, books, household items, and more. Proceeds will benefit local and Lions charities, including eyeglasses for low-income persons, preschool vision screenings, books and school supplies for local students, support of East Frederick Little League, Leader Dogs for the Blind, the Maryland Eye Bank, and other local and Lions charities.
As an added bonus, and to support the club’s “Feed the Hungry” project, patrons who bring canned or nonperishable goods and donate them to the FSK Lions Club on August 11 will receive a 20% discount on their total purchase (valid only on August 11 during the specified times; not valid on prior purchases or for cash); collected goods will be donated to the Frederick Food Bank.
