Lion Betsy Estilow of the Middletown Lions Club recently spoke to the Francis Scott Key Lions Club of the real Clara Barton, including her work with the Missing Soldiers Office, where Barton received over 63,000 letters, identified over 22,000 missing soldiers, and answered over 40,000 letters.
Also attending the meeting was Frederick Police Officer First Class Amy Brum, Patrol Squad B, the club’s Operation Blue Thank You honoree for November.
