Lions District 22W Governor Brian Cox of the Terra Rubra Lions Club made his official visit to the Francis Scott Key Lions Club on October 11, 2016. He was accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Susan Cox, also of the Terra Rubra Lions Club. His presentation followed his theme of “Seeds of Service.” He spoke of the service projects undertaken by the FSK Lions Club and how the community would be different if there were no FSK Lions Club. He also spoke of seeds of legacy, seeds of foundation, and seeds of leadership, how all are needed for our communities and Lions Clubs International to be successful.

Joining the Lions at this meeting was Ofc. Margaret Lee of the Frederick Police Department, the third officer invited to a meeting as part of the club’s “Operation Blue Thank You”, a program designed to thank local police officers for their service.
