Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner recently spoke to the Francis
Scott Key Lions Club about Frederick County’s transition from the
county commission to charter form of government. She
indicated that the transition is going well and spoke of developing
good working relationships with other elected and business officials to
help benefit Frederick County. Executive Gardner indicated
that her budget, the first under the new process, will not recommend
raising taxes but simply reprioritizing how the funds are
spent. The State of the County address will be delivered in
June. |
